The Castillo de Conesa castle created by Mr Conesa, in the moorish style of the Alhambra Palace in Granada, is one of the best kept secrets on the Costa Blanca.  Although only half completed is now open to offer a fantastic day out for families to enjoy and for a superb venue for holding Weddings, Anniversaries, Birthday and private parties.

The varied menu and wine list offered in the restaurant Meson del Lago is very competitively priced and good value.

Outside the castle is very spacious with outdoor seating and an Arabic tea house which will open permanently in the summer, You can take your choice to eat in by a blazing log fire or outside by one of the 3 lakes with swans, geese and wild ducks enjoying the water which cascades down the rocks as two waterfalls. A great backdrop for wedding photos. 

Children are well catered for as there is a large play area, a zoo for domestic animals set in a large orange orchard and interesting caves. 

The castle should be open to the general public from June 2010, houses a museum of impressive artwork from the 16th and 17th centuries, a beautiful patio similar to the famous Alhambra Palace and an oriental solon seating up to 400 people.  The towers of the castle offer spectacular breathtaking views - not to be missed. 

A luxury restaurant will open within the castle in the summer of 2010, 'one' hopes to be invited to enjoy a good meal soon by Mr Conesa !!
