El Mojon some 15 minute drive from Flamenca Beach is an old fishing village with a long soft white sandy beach which has Blue Flag status, perfectly safe for all ages to swim and bathe. El Mojon is the most northern point of Costa Calida next to Lo Pagan and the mud baths at San Pedro. From the 1st July until the 15th September there is a life guard in attendance with first aid equipment. As you sit on El Mojon Beach you can see in the distance the water tower at Torre De La Horadada and the Church tower
