Looking for Property in Spain

When it comes to buying a property in Spain, there is a wide selection of properties available including Villas, Apartments and Town Houses, Village homes, Fincas, Rustic traditional Spanish homes and Cave Houses.

As the Costa’s become more developed, many Expats’ are moving inland, pushing up property prices, there are new developments being built both on the coast and inland.  Over the past few years property prices in Spain has risen considerably, but at the moment they are holding steady and in some areas, coming down.  Now is a good time to buy if you are considering purchasing your dream home in the sun either for an investment or a holiday home.

Buying a property in Spain can be complicated and you should make sure you get it right.  Do not listen to all that is said, do your own research.

One of the main considerations of purchasing a property in Spain is location, location, location the same as when you are living in your home country and the type of property that you want.

There are Property Exhibitions in the UK as well as in Spain and a vast amount of information on the internet, there are also a few good books to help you along the way, some property agents arrange inspection trips.  Ask yourselves what is it you want of your new home, do you need to be near schools?  What is the infrastructure overall?  Do you want to live in a British area or Spanish?  Our Advice to everyone is, do not leave your brains at the airport, research, seek advice from the experts, go on holiday to the area that you are interested in and talk to people who live there, recommendation is the best way. Before you buy why not rent for a few months to try the way of life first before you committee yourself to living in Spain.  Try before you buy is our recommendation, don’t sell you home in your home country, rent it out for 3/ 6 months and rent a home here in Spain to try it first.

The vast majority of people moving to the Costa Blanca have discovered that it is the healthiest area any where in the World according to the World Health Organisation.   The white sandy beaches of the Mediterranean Sea are clean, clear and gorgeous, the salt lakes of Alicante to Torrevieja, then again at Lo Pagan beside San Pedro to La Manga, the whole area is beautiful and healthy,

Good luck.   Any information you require, please do not hesitate to contact us .  We will be happy to assist you in any way.
