Torrevieja is famed for its Salt Lakes with Pink Flamingos wadding in the pink/blue lagoons. The area has been decreed to be the healthiest area in the World, according to the World Health Organisation, why live any where else or go anywhere else for your holidays. The historical cities of Alicante, Orihuela, Murcia, Elche and Cartegena are less one hour distant from Flamenca Beach, great for a day out exploring on an open top bus or by horse and carriage, depending on the time of year and the weather of course!!
