Living in Spain in winter, where the average temperature is around 15c, warmer in the sun. Less people around and on the whole a quite time to just sit and relax. You can still eat outside during the day and sunbathe too.
Below are pictures taken on the 30th December 2006 where sun temperature was around 26c, as you can see it was warm enough for sunbathers.
